Noise and hearing lose

I am reading an international book produced by the World Health Organization on occupational noise exposure prevention. This book was paid for by the money I get from my union for expenses for my health and safety work at Carleton universities campus. But the book has the basics on acoustics and also hearing physiology. It also has information on hearing measurement and evaluation of noise in workplace. This includes plans to do a noise survey and also to calibrate noise measuring equipment.
